1. Parties
These Terms & Conditions form a contract between:

The Make-Up Artist ("we", "us", "our")

The Client ("you", "your")

By booking and making payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
​
2. Services
-
Details of services provided (bridal, event, editorial, etc.) will be agreed at the time of booking.

Any special requirements must be confirmed in writing.
-
We will endeavour to replicate any special requests for make up and hairstyling where possible. However, in some circumstances this may not be possible and we are not liable.

3. Bookings & Payments
-
A 50% non-refundable and non-transferrable deposit is required to secure your booking.
-
Full payment is due by 5 x days before the appointment/event to commence the full service.
-
Payments are to be made via bank transfer.

4. Cancellations & Refunds
-
All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable in all circumstances.

If we must cancel due to illness, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative artist (subject to availability).

Bridal Bookings with less than 3 months notice are required to still pay the remaining balance.
-
Special Occasion bookings with less than 1 month notice are required to still pay the remaining balance.

Any changes to the booking, an admin fee is payable of £50.

5. Travel & Expenses
-
Travel to the location advised is included.
-
Travel beyond this is charged at £0.50 per mile.

Parking, congestion charges, ULEZ, tolls, or accommodation (if payable) will be billed to the client.

6. Client Responsibilities
-
You must inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities at the time of booking.
-
We are not liable for adverse reactions where this information has not been disclosed.
-
Please ensure you are ready when we arrive (or are available) and on time; lateness may reduce the time available for your service. If you or your guests are late or delayed and this goes beyond 15 minutes, there is an admin charge payable of £50.

7. Health & Safety
-
We maintain high standards of hygiene. Brushes and products are sanitised before each client.

In the event of contagious illness (e.g., cold sores, conjunctivitis), we reserve the right to refuse service for health reasons.

8. Destination Bookings
-
Flights to be covered by the client.
-
Accommodation to be covered by the client.
-
All travel arrangements including flights and accommodation to be booked no later or less than 3 months of the event.
-
Visa - you are responsible for checking if a visa is required for the destination country and any associated costs must be covered by you if this is applicable.
-
Vaccinations & Health Assessments - you are responsible for checking if any vaccinations or health assessments are required to travel to the destination country and any associated costs must be covered by you if this is applicable.

Special Considerations -
-
European & International Flights - we require that you book and cover the costs of direct flights only to ensure The Make-Up Artist is not delayed in travel and time is not compromised by long travel to get to your booking.

European & International Flight Luggage Allowance - we require that you book and cover the costs for our Make-Up Artist to have a personal minimum hold allowance of 23kg, hand allowance of 15kg and additional hand allowance of 10kg for hair & make up equipment.

Accommodation – we require that you book and cover the costs to the equivalent of a 4* rated or higher hotel in order for our Make-Up Artist to be comfortable and at their best for your big day.

Any costs incurred by The Make-Up Artist due to the above terms not being met will be billed to the client plus an admin fee of £250 to cover any associated costs due to losses, distress, and inconvenience.

Flight Delay - if a flight is delayed, The Make-Up Artist will endeavour to get the next available flight and will not be held liable for any delays caused in providing the service to the client or any associated costs.

Flight Cancellation – if a flight is cancelled, The Make-Up Artist will offer a full refund to the client and will not be held liable for any associated costs.

9. Liability

We are not liable for any indirect loss, damage, or costs arising from services provided.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

10. Force Majeure
-
We are not responsible for cancellations or delays due to events outside our control (e.g., extreme weather, accidents, pandemics).
11. Photography & Image Use
-
We reserve the right to take photographs and videography of the completed hairstyling and make-up look or either service for our portfolio/marketing.

12. Governing Law
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
-
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Acceptance
By making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
